I woke up this morning feeling really bad, especially a localised pain on my left eye. I touched it and felt a bit of swelling on my palpebra(eyelid). With my body feeling as if it had been used for a thousand years, it took me an insurmountable effort to stand up and walked to the nearest mirror in my house. To no surprise, it has all the classic signs of inflammation which was, rubor(redness), tumor(swelling), dolor(pain), color(heat). It is probably a conjuctivits cause by a staphylococcal infection. So yeah, Happy Holidays!
Anyway, I would just like to share this great thing with all medical students or even doctors. I've always wanted this during my first year of study, something that can visualise the whole human body in 3D and with great enough details which makes it easier for me to understand Anatomy. It's called the Google Body Browser.
Isn't it great, it's actually webapp, let me repeat, a web app which doesnt require you download any additional softwares or even an plug-ins(though for now you still need the latest chrome internet browser). It amazes me how much technology advances nowadays.
Ok, enough teasing, you guys should try it for yourselves, hit up the link here, and start discovering the human body like you've never done before. To use it however, you would need the Chrome Browser 9.0.597.19 beta, you can find the download link at the bodybrowser website. So hope this would be able to help some people to further understand the complexity of the human bodies.
